Recipe of the Month
Good Luck Black Eyed Peas
Diana Rattray, About.com Guide

If you are planning to celebrate the New Year in the Southeast, it is most likely that you will be offered black-eyed peas in some form, either just after midnight or on New Year's Day. From grand gala gourmet dinners to small casual gatherings with friends and family, these flavorful legumes are traditionally, according to Southern folklore, the first food to be eaten on New Year's Day for luck and prosperity throughout the year ahead.

Happy Beginnings and Endings at DCH Credit Union
December at DCH Credit Union is celebrating both a beginning and an end.
Mary Cole, Member Service Representative, is retiring after a total of eight years of service to DCH Credit Union. Mary will be missed for many reasons, but most of all, for her compassion and dedication shown toward our members and this Credit Union. Her last day will be December 21, 2012. We encourage you to stop by and give your well wishes to her, should you have an opportunity to do so.
Also, Randa Buszka, Accounting Clerk, is having a baby boy! Matthew Lane Buszka is due any day now. We are excited about welcoming a new member to the DCH Credit Union family.
Congratulations to Mary and Randa!!!
