As with any potential data breach, you are the best line of defense. Keep an eye on all your financial statements and any suspicious accounts which you know you did not apply for. Consider getting an independent credit monitoring service or make a plan to pull your free credit reports offered by the FTC at

Although it is impossible to know what fraud may or may not occur due to this particular breach, it is wise to keep yourself alert and educated. We recommend the steps and tips offered by the FTC in regards to handling this which can be found by clicking here.

Please note--any credit report breach will not affect your debit card numbers. Debit card and checking account numbers are not reported to credit agencies.
