First Time Auto Buyers
Public Service Credit Union is offering an affordable auto loan program to help first time auto buyers receive a loan for their first vehicle while helping them to begin building a solid credit history. The program is designed for people with no credit or limited but good credit. The biggest advantage for young borrowers is eliminating the need for a co-signer. Applicants must be employed and meet other underwriting criteria. Overall, the goal of this special program is to help new drivers get on the road on their own while helping them build credit.

At one time or another, we have all considered making a move to somewhere outside of the state of Michigan. Although most of us decide to stay in the Great Lakes State, it is a wonder to how we compare to other states. Most importantly, how we compare in cost of living.

2018 PSCU Scholarship Ceremony

Recipients and family members arrived in Romulus on Tuesday afternoon to receive their scholarship checks in recognition of their hard work. The main lobby of Public Service Credit Union was transformed into a stage set for the scholars. President/CEO Dean Trudeau, board member Nora Sharpley and employee Deleanna Allen spoke to their accomplishments and presented the scholars with additional gifts including a personalized USB drive that had information to help them as they transition into college life.

Uncle Sam Jam

Woodhaven hosted its annual fair, Uncle Sam Jam, earlier this month. Civic Center Park was lined with carnival attractions ranging from roller coasters, to barbecue pits and a traveling freak show. The highlight of the event however, was the three musical acts that performed that weekend. The cast included: Sebastian Bach, Your Generation In Concert and Candlebox.

Employee Spotlight

This month's ‘Employee Spotlight’ shines on Monica Hoover. She is a consistent and reliable worker who manages to keep her positive attitude even when situations get difficult. In her spare time, Monica enjoys going to concerts with her husband and camping with family and friends. At home, she enjoys spending time with her “fur babies” (one dog and one cat). Thank you, Monica, for everything that you do for Public Service and for making the work week that much more enjoyable!
