During 2018 we took some steps to position the credit union for growth, expansion and improved member service.  Financially, 2018 was another very good year for us. Our assets grew from $269MM to nearly $300MM and our net earnings exceed $2MM, more than 100% above budget!  Additionally, our membership grew by more than 1,000 new members! Calendar Closing Monday, January 21st 2019, all PSCU branches will be closed in observance and remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 12 Days of Giving PSCU kicked off their 12 Days of Giving on December 6th. During the year, employees have the chance to donate part of their paycheck to a charity fund. Since the employees created the fund, they were able to brainstorm ideas on how to "do good" with it. Thus, the "12 days of giving" was born. Each day teams of employees were given $1,000 dollars to give back to people in need in their communities. Each team impacted an organization or people differently. The creativity flowed as Christmas trees were bought, layaway items were paid off and grocery carts were purchased for unsuspecting customers. This is the highest ranking possible and we are proud of achieving such an honor. Employee Spotlight Dominique has been with PSCU since 2011. She started as a Member Service Representative and is now in the Remote Services department. She keeps her department in good spirits throughout the day with her upbeat energy and fun personality. She is a wealth of knowledge and PSCU is lucky to have her. Outside of work she enjoys watching mystery shows on Discovery ID and doing her fingernails like a pro! Election Results & Annual Meeting Frederick Morgan and Edward Carey were nominated to the office of Board of Directors of Public Service Credit Union to serve a 3-year term. These incumbents have been re-elected by acclamation since no other member had filed a nominating petition and an election was not required. Thank you for your continued dedication and volunteer work with the Credit Union. The annual meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 @ 5:00pm.
